I do have a work-around, but so far it has kernel panicked every install into being unusable and even killed the kernel cache, so in the process of getting this solved.įor now, give this a go, the AC66 might just need more attention. I am certain we are all having the same issue, this problem came about after Yosemite for which I had to do very little work after a lot of research to get 100% use of the card, but Sierra however is stubborn. The PCE-AC68 is the same as my PCE-AC66, I can tell you now one of the first steps in getting this card working properly are adding the clover kext patches, I am currently trying to solve the issue of the card not enabling (turning on), but being recognized as working. Here's some screenshots of the system report: If anyone has any ideas what I'm doing wrong here or why this card that has been working out of the box for people since 2013 is acting any help would be greatly appreciated! I've also tried using the `networksetup` command to turn it on, that also did not work. I've also tried making the service inactive, removing it, rebooting, and then creating it again, no joy. I've tried making the service inactive, removing it, and creating it again. The card is recognised, and is showing up as AirPort compatible as far as I can tell(screenshots below) but the network option to "Turn Wi-Fi On" does nothing. I have an Asus PCE-AC68 which is purported to "just work" OOB but I'm unable to power on the interface. I've followed the latest Sierra guide and have been able to successfully boot into sierra with almost everything working, however, one of the things that isn't working is Wi-Fi.
